Fiebing's Saddle Soap soon became so popular that the U.S. Cavalry at Fort Riley, Kansas used it exclusively to clean and preserve their saddles, tack and other leather equipment. Due to the overwhelming use of Fiebing products by the Cavalry, the company designed a logo portraying a mounted Cavalryman; a logo that stands to this day.

Hoof Dressing

Since 1895, ranchers, breeders, stage operators and the U.S. Cavalry have relied on Fiebing quality. Fiebing’s Hoof Dressing is today, as it was then, the professional horseman’s standard for treating corns, quarter cracks, split hoofs and brittleness. Used regularly it also helps maintain healthy feet. Also improves hoof appearance, imparting a semi-gloss finish.

Green Clean

The Fiebing Company has a new addition to our equine grooming program. Fiebing’s Green Clean spot and stain remover that contains Tea Tree Oil to effectively clean and condition your horse’s hair. Use Fiebing’s Green Clean to quickly and easily get rid of urine stains, grass stains and manure stains. It also removes wet and dry sweat stains. Spray it on and wipe it off. Rinsing is not required and it comes in a 32 ounce spray bottle. Fiebing’s Green Clean contains no bleaches or harmful solvents. It is biodegradable and environment friendly. Spray it on and wipe it off. Rinsing is not required.

Fiebing's Flyspray 44

Fiebing’s Flyspray 44 is our premium flyspray and was developed especially for use on horses.

Flyspray 44 provides a protective coating against pests. Flyspray 44 contains a combination of the
most effective active ingredients found in an Equine Flyspray: Pyrethrins, Piperonyl Butoxide, Butoxypolypropylene Glycol and Oil of Citronella. One application provides days worth of
protection from house flies, stable flies, horse flies, horn flies, mosquitoes and gnats. Because it contains lanolin, it provides a high sheen to the hair after brushing.

EquiFend Flyspray

Fiebing’s EquiFend is a water based and economical yet highly effective flyspray formulated for

use on horses. EquiFend contains pyrethrins combined with permetrins and piperonyl butoxide to
provide rapid knock down and kill of Mosquitoes, Horse Flies, Stable Flies, Horn Flies, House Flies, Face Flies, Deer Flies, Fleas, Lice, Gnats and Ticks.

Fiebing's most complete, All-in-One cleaner and conditioner for use on smooth leather. 4-Way Care preserves by waterproofing and replenishing tanning oils; strengthens by coating each leather fibre with a blend of the finest leather oils and waxes; beautifies the finish by coating it with waxes which also aid in resisting dirt; and cleans fine leathers—including exotics—because it contains leather soaps that float out dirt and grime. Developed with Australian horsemen, Aussie Leather Conditioner helps leather to withstand hot, dry climate conditions. Contains natural Beeswax. Golden Mink Oil Leather Preserver

This leather conditioning paste was compounded especially as a preservative for boots, shoes and other leather goods subjected to rugged outdoor use. Leather Care Tips

For new saddles, we recommend that you clean it on a regular basis with Fiebing's Liquid Glycerine Saddle Soap both on the top and the underside surfaces. After cleaning, lightly oil the top-side of all surfaces with Fiebing's 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil to keep the leather supple. Be sure not to over oil! Over oiling is the most common reason for unhappy saddle owners. If you are going to use the saddle in extreme conditions, either very wet or very dry, we recommend a light coat of Fiebing's Aussie Leather Conditioner after you oil. Aussie Leather Conditioner will help keep the oils in the leather longer.

Fiebing products are the perfect choice for restoring your favorite saddles that have been worn down by outdoor elements. If the saddle just need a little cleaning and restoring, Fiebing's 4 Way Care Leather Conditioner will do the trick. This one step formula will have saddles looking as good as new. For saddles that are extremely weather-beaten, thoroughly scrub with a soft, yet firm brush, water and Fiebing's Saddle Soap Paste. Be sure you clean both sides of the leather. After cleaning, wipe the saddle off with a clean, damp cloth to remove all remaining soap. We then recommend that you re-clean the saddle with Fiebing's Liquid Glycerine Saddle Soap on both the top and underside surfaces. Oil the entire saddle lightly with Fiebing's 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil. Again, do not over oil! Let the saddle dry for a day, preferably in the sunlight. At this point, you will want to re-oil the saddle, this time oiling the top surface only. Since the first application of oil opened up the pores, you will notice that the second application will penetrate the leather more freely. Let sit for another day. Apply Fiebing's Aussie Leather Conditioner and wipe of the excess. Follow these steps and your old, weatherbeaten saddle will look great!
